Hello, my name is Gaspar Avila. I was born in the azorean island of Sao Jorge and I'm now living in Ponta Delgada city, in Sao Miguel island. |

The Azores are nine beautiful islands in the middle of the Atlantic where people try to live side by side with nature. The ocean is always a great inspiration for me, and also our peaks and lagoons, reminders of Azores volcanic origins. |
|
I consider the Azores to be one of the greatest places in the world to live and visit today, so my main motivation is to show you the best of these islands, their beauty and the uniqueness of their people and culture. In my galleries you can find photos about the Azores landscapes, festivals, architecture, traditions, wildlife and flora. I also shoot stock photography, which is usually described as concept photos. You will also find some travel photography from other places I have been to. |
